Machinist 04:12
When the world falls down around your teenage culture call and you kill yourself slowly for being born and you can't shoot up on what makes you happy machines are good. machines are good. Everyday I feel the same Put a gun in my hand and it's over. If you just hold me.
2.
Requiem For 05:08
Do you feel the same as me? Do you find it hard to let it go? Do you cut your pretty face? Do you say you hate yourself, and not mean it? Do you hate me? Do you hate me? Like I do. Do you fake it? Do you fake it? Like I do. Do you? Like I need you.
3.
The carpet burns are looking good although the idol douched the cradle beneath the current seems to treat us well I like to smear the intensity of your impact Oh I must say you look good Oh I must say you look good but I hate you, yea I hate you. God is an American. It's not a good day to relate to you I freeze and comfort in an acid bath the mould is nice it's plastic nice and I won't bother you Oh I must say you look good Oh I must say you look good but I hate you, yea I hate you. God is an American.
4.
Hemlock 04:40
Come back. Come back ...now. Come back. Come back... just let it go She needs an explanation
5.
Stencil 04:40
Disconnect yourself If you need a better day Cut yourself away If you're true, if you're true you take a Beating For you Culture kills for you Purify with noise You know we're not the same Stenciled in your head to perform, to conform For you Culture kills for you
6.
Lost Rib 04:48
Hey sound, don't fall away Hey sound, my comfort hey sound, you take away a bad day, a bad day I'll come running I'll come running into come running I'll come running into come running I'll come running into your arms, your arms
7.
Sympathy for you and your life A lead weight in a pool I'll disappear with you Like I wanted Say it in silence cos you know I'll spit on every word I've ever said A lead weight move closer It's something to hold on to You're in me, your enemy You know what it's like to feel hopefully You know what it's like to let it go Pay for apathy pay for appearance Don't sell yourself short I've never been too sure I've never been too sure of myself I'll disappear with you A lead weight move closer It's something to hold on to You're in me, your enemy You know what it's like to feel hopefully You know what it's like to let it go You're in me, your enemy
8.

Quiet Sunday 02:16
On a quiet Sunday morning I'm tired of sleeping alone Juliette's a comfort but I'm getting by I'll let today I'll let today slide

Violent Eve 03:28
Remember the time we slept through the winter I was afraid you wouldn't wake I know you hate December Your rage is beautiful And into nothingness I thought you'd guide me But out of nothingness And into real arms Your rage is beautiful

about

This is a compilation album made of two Ep's and a live acoustic session by Medic in Limerick, Ireland from 1996 - 2000.

Ep 1 (Tracks 1-4)
'All The Sins Of Angels Poured Down My Throat Tonight'
Recorded by Medic and Mark O'Connor at U.L Studios (S120: Schuman Building), Limerick in October 1998 (not sure!)
Released on 90min TDK cassette tape in April 1999 at the Upr Deck, Costelloes Tavern, Limerick.
Original artwork and wierd kid photo courtesy of the Ryan family lost to time.

*Let it also be known that some of the songs contain samples from films rented by the band in Xtravision in 1997 and recorded directly from TV onto a cassette player.
- Machinist contains a sample from 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick (1968)
- It also contains a sample of dialogue from a WWF wrestling match in 1997.
- Requiem for contains a sample from a Miss World Competition circa 1997.
- Hemlock contains a sample taken from Perfume by Patrick Suskind.

Ep 2 (Tracks 5-7)
'Devotion', or the working title 'If Elvis isn't dead let's kill him'
Recorded by Medic and Dennis Allen in Rosbrien, Limerick on Saturday 11th November 2000. Never formally released.

*Additional song 'Wireroses' not included due to superbly shitty quality
- 'Stencil' contains an extended sample taken from the film Chopper by Andrew Dominik (2000)

Ep3 (Tracks 8 - 10)
'The Lagging Jacket Acoustic Radio Session'
Recorded in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick by Medic and Steven Ryan in 2001 (we think) but also never formally released.
